BNP Paribas International Hackathon: Meet the Finalists (2)

Co.Station will be organising the 2017 edition of the BNP Paribas International Hackathon, that will take place 9-11 June 2017 at our Brussels village.

We did our homework and we are glad to present you the teams selected for each theme! BNP Paribas Fortis is focusing the hacks of the event around 4 different themes:

  • New ways of interacting with clients (B2C)
  • Offer new e-services to our Wealth & Private banking clients (B2C)
  • Internet of things & Sharing Economy: how will they transform equipment assets/finance? (B2B)
  • Companies simply do only use 10% of their brain

 

For the 2nd theme – Wealth & Private banking clients (B2C) – the finalists are:

Crunch Analytics is a data science company. They combine the business strategy and the data scientific perspective. In retail, the problem they tackle is demand forecasting. Crunch analytics plug themselves into the customer dabatases and check how popular the products are on internet using APIs and use machine learning algorithm to predict the demand.

 

SMOVIN is an operative platform to help professionals and individuals to manage their properties online. They do follow-up of payments, automatic reminders for payments, indexation, management of charges and bail contracts. They take care of the entire tenant cycle from the moment they sign their contract to the moment where they leave the apartment. The system is based as a todo oriented solution. Giving the choice to the user to decide what to do when specific situations arise.

 

Traderouter is a technology service provider. They developed a software for automated trading. The Automated trading converts ideas and strategies from professionals into orders, trades and executions in the investor portfolio. Fully automatically. The platform comes packed with a mobile app which allows investors to pick strategies that fit their profile, allocates assets and mirrors all trading and investment actions. Investors stay in control at any time. They can pause, unsubscribe or reallocate assets whenever they want. Even manual intervention is perfectly possible.
