The story of Co.Station started in 2014 at Place Sainte Gudule in Brussels.
BNP Paribas Fortis, together with another private partner, decided to take over a co-working place and to transform it into a workspace where tech startups, scaleups, entrepreneurs and companies can meet, connect, create opportunities to grow together!
Soon Co.Station Brussels grew with a second floor and became a reference in the Brussels tech ecosystem offering the latest in tech trends with startups and companies changing the world. Co.Station is now a coworking place offering offices, meeting rooms and innovation programs for tech startups, scaleups and companies.
A few months later, it became clear that Co.Station needed to be a multi-companies – non-exclusive initiative – and thus more global partners (Proximus, SD Worx and USG) came on board.
At the same time, Co.Station launched itself into more cities: Co.Station Gent in 2016, Co.Station Charleroi in 2018 with the support of Sambrinvest.
In September 2018, Co.Station was pleased to announce the official launch of ‘The Beacon’. The Beacon is a partnership between City of Antwerp, Port of Antwerp, University of Antwerp, research centre imec and technology federation Agoria, managed by Co.Station.
